Compost Bin

At the same event - we were able to pick up a compost bin and compost turner for $50 - retails for $100. I have placed the unit near the kitchen (outside) so it is convenient to placing all the vegetable ends, fruit peels and the like. While computing a cost savings for compost will be difficult - I know I will be reducing my waste even further.

Benefits of Composting
- less garbage thrown in our landfills
- create a rich fertilizer
- it is free
